Painting metal trim around windows?

like i said, the method is up to you. the overall result will look more or less the same. i just always do things as best i can. a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cars.

i got lucky!!! the people who painted my car also painted the trims:beer:

but only thing bad is sooner or later it will flake away
ppg makes a type of self etching primer that adheres to chrome but its like 125 a rattle can lame

orillys, advance auto parts, autozone, any local parts stores call around if they dnt have it they can probably order it

checked auto zone and kragen which is that same as oreillys and neither carry it so i might just go spray cause it cost less getting it at the store than buying the tape online.

ya i like the way urs looks. really clean. kinda why i don't wanna go tape cause ill have to cut it up make sure it looks perfect with no chrome showing and plus i don't want the tape coming off for any reason.

I used plasti dip but it peeled off with my 1st heavy car wash..

Be steady with the tape, don't want to have to keep peeling it off and trying to reapply.

I think I did my whole car in about an hour or so.
