Thanks, I cut out the fog deletes and epoxied the LEDs so they sit flush. Yes, they are the el-cheapo LED strips, but they worked out better than I was expecting.

I can post a DIY if anyone is curious to see exactly what I did.

I would like to see a DIY....

Which LED did you purchase?
