Hubcentric rings do help. I have one in every corner and definitely helped eliminate steering wheel vibrations.

Some recommend hubcentric rings, which when you get to 15mm I would probably use if you can. 5mm or 10mm aren't a big deal.
A lot of aftermarket wheels, usually wheels that aren't custom made, come in just one or two hub sizes so that's why you need hubcentric rings to basically make the wheels fit on the hub properly. You'll get it when you see the pics in the link below.

The benefit of having hubcentric spacers/wheels is that you will basically get little to no vibration from the steering wheel. You'll need spacers that have a bore size of 64.1 if I'm not mistaken.
So the rings are for better fitment and act as somewhat of a cushion.
So which spacers should I get? Or which do I need?
