and for the e30 first step is swapping the motor cuz of rod knock
I got the motor just waiting for a friend to help me with the swap cuz I hear these things are so difficult to do
I wanna paint it slam it get sum wheels n tidy up the interior
once cosmetics is decent im planning on doing serious work with the motor
You should look at NASOHC's paint job. Its pure sex.
If you paint it, what color are you looking to get?
looks like a b18 or b20 valve cover. btw how did you get the h22 vtec solenoid to work with the f23? is there any trick to get it working?

Haha yeah I thought the same about the valvecover when I first saw it but it was dark
my neighbor actually is hookin it up with the valve cover
he's a powdercoater and I told him I might want either woodgrain or a nice royal maroon
and for the solenoid yes it was real tricky but I got it to work
a friend showed me how to do it about 6 months ago

Ahahahahaha shoot my mistake when I snapped the pic I placed my homies ls valve cover over my motor
haha my bad I just realized when I took a second look at the pic

would you mind letting us know how you hooked it up? As in does it bolt up in the same location? and what needs to be changed in wiring? reason im asking is because i have a spare h22a4 and i would love to swap the vtec solenoid, to get abit more power lol. also are you obd1 converted?

The solenoid doesn't just bolt right up but it does go in the same location
wiring is the same
yeah obd1 converted and nicely tuned for my nos
its nice cuz I can't throw the stock ecu whenever I drive to norcal and save so much gas
and throw the p28 when I wanna juice it
