I was wanting to increase my gas mileage, I currently run about 26 miles per gallon. Peas wondering if cold air intake and a throttle body spacer would make a difference. Thanks for all and any help

I don't think you will notice with JUST cold air intake. When I had my car, I had intake, headers, pulleys, and CL-S muffler and I did notice 2-3mpg increase overall.

You'll see a small increase on the highway but nothing really noticable when you do city driving tho

Well, let me tell you this. People don't just do one mod to notice gains in hp or mpg. They usually have some. So with throttle body (didn't have one but my opinion) is that you have to have plenums too to notice something. Some people say they have noticed difference in V6 cars but not sure about i4 if you are going to buy just plenums.

What would make a difference is decreasing the weight of the car. So CARBON FIBER HOOD!!

Most effective way to increase milage is driving habits. My buddy's lancer is supposed to be able to get 33mpg highway, but his lead foot gets him about 18mpg.
