Just noticed my passenger side retro is fogging up some. So annoying, I spent the better part of the day taking them apart, cleaning them, sealing them, putting them back together, then sealing them some more. Argh…I’ll have to take it off again…but don’t even know where else to add silicone

next time you take them apart add a layer of wax to the inside lense. Works wonders from what i hear

like regular ole car wax? or do you think quikwax would work?

extended the wires from both of my front component speakers so i could mount the amp on top of my sub box, tuned the amp a little bit, and cleaned the interior (well, vaccumed) and scrubbed the floor mats clean. also got $20 in gas which is the most ive put in since probably november :lawl:

I'd just stick it back in the oven for a while then press real hard around all the edges. Worked for me

I ordered blue ones and they sent me red ones.

The listing is even for a blue pair, it's not like you have to tell them what colour you want......

Hmm that is actually not a bad idea, if it doesn’t hinder visibility/lens clarity at all. Anyone else tried this?

I’ll try this first, really don’t want to take them apart again since I really thought I did a thorough job sealing them up.

What makes no sense is when I washed my car Monday, the passenger side fogged a bit and the driver was fine. But it rained last night and this morning the driver side fogged and the passenger side was fine. What the hell…

I ordered blue ones and they sent me red ones.

But, you can never go wrong with red! :lawl: Did the listing actually say blue?
