I know you would approve of the red, Mr. C, :lawl: however, they have a variety of different colours and the picture in the listing was of the blue ones.

Hmm that is actually not a bad idea, if it doesn’t hinder visibility/lens clarity at all. Anyone else tried this?

I’ll try this first, really don’t want to take them apart again since I really thought I did a thorough job sealing them up.

What makes no sense is when I washed my car Monday, the passenger side fogged a bit and the driver was fine. But it rained last night and this morning the driver side fogged and the passenger side was fine. What the hell…

But, you can never go wrong with red! :lawl: Did the listing actually say blue?

DONT add wax or any sort of glass cleaner that makes water bead to the inside. It'll make your fogging look that much worse. (speaking from experience with my retro)
Clean the inside with simply water if you want to when you have the lights apart.

As for the fogging, take some silica packs, tie them with a string and leave them inside the highbeam housings overnight(take out bulbs and put in through he hole). Add some extra rubber rings to the highbeam and blinker bulbs to make a tighter seal.(assuming your projectors are sealed up properly.

If issue still persists, what i did was take the rubber circle that seals the highbeam back bucket and cut of 1/4 of it and placed it back on. That extra 1/4 of room allows the headlight to breather easier for me and no more condensation. (meaning chances are your oem headlight breather filters are clogged)
*make sure you rotate the rubber ring so the 1/4 cutout isnt facing down or in any way where water will splash on it.

^That is a valid point, the moisture has to go somewhere, and beading up inside the lens could look worse. Unless the droplets are falling down to the bottom of the housing in which case the moisture would be out of sight.

I have a silica pack that is permanently concealed inside the housing, but stringing some more through for overnight is a good idea. More work, but whatever.

The ¼ section you cutout, are you saying you leave it off overnight, then put it back on in the morning? Or did you mean the cuts in the rubber just allow for better air flow period…

I cut it off for better breathing period.

The water beads on mine annoyed the hell out of me and weren't moving down lol, they actually dryed and to this day if looking closely enough left a little mark on the inside which i need to clean next time i open the lights.

Hit up your local walmart and just grab the silica packs of the clothing irons...thats what i did lolz, each iron had 3 inside:rofl: Its very easy to put them in, just be careful not to bust the bags when putting in or taking out.

lol nice.

So you left off that section of the seal permanently? Meaning if I looked at the back of your headlights I'd only see 3/4 of it? Sorry lol, just making sure I'm understanding you correctly.
