Re: Raul's 1998 Accord Coupe V6

thats a good question, Jordan....hmm....they probably would stay with the car since I will have Z to come out in summer. I will keep the white rims anyway. My plan is to get 2002 2dr 5MT and use my accord's 5 bolt, lip kit, retrofit, LED tails and navigation. Good idea or bad idea?

One thing that always keeps me coming back to Accord is the reliability, good looks, decent performance and good on gas.

If you can afford to buy a 5 speed and swap parts then do it. Having a manual made me fall in love with my car all over again.

I think you can also upload pics and assign them to your contacts, so if someone calls their pic will show up lol.

That is cool as ****. The more I hear about these things, the more I want one. If I have any green left over after my current projects, I may need to consider this more seriously. Did you make your “faceplate” yet?

Agree completely. I think it would be worth it.

Muhib, you don’t drive your Accord in the summers? I thought the Z was your girl’s car?

may be you can get a deal on avic-x920bt from sonicelectronix since you are in States, Chris. Also you may want to look into the z130bt. It has bigger screen and real 3D.

I dont drive Accord in the summer because having two cars on insurance is nuts here. For accord i pay 250/month, for Z it was 230/month last year. Donno how much it will be this year. Insurance is insane here, guys!

The quotes above are only 3rd party, does not include comprehensive or collision.

decent 5MT accords are going for 3000-3500 these days. Next year should drop even more. Rather than doing timing belt, fix exhaust, cat and oxygen sensor it is better to pick up a newer Accord :)

Cool thanks. 3D I'm not so much into, at least until they release devices that don't require glasses, like the new Nintendo DS or whatever it is.

This project is 4th or 5th in line, haha.

Ah okay. Just can't get over that. I am currently insuring my wife's car and my own, both with full coverage, for $84 a month.

:bump:
someone is coming out soon:run::run:

of the closet?
