Cleaned my iacv. For some reason my coolant system didn't need to be bled too much. I ran the engine until the thermostat opened, then turned it off and loosened the bleeder bolt and coolant started running out. Reservoir was full and radiator was full too. So just to be safe I ran the car with the radiator cap off and it burped like once, and I topped it off.

I got a little nervous when I first started it up after reinstalling the iacv i had white smoke coming out of the exhaust... idk if that was because it was cold outside or a little coolant got into the air valve for it. Either way it stopped. lol

Oh and i used my new jack I got for sale at Harbor Freight and test fitted my wheels. I should be ordering tires this week. :)

You're supposed to open the bleeder screw with the car cold/off as you're adding coolant. Once you see a stream with no bubbles you close it. Then you allow the car to run with no rad cap until both front fans come on(about 10mins) while keeping the radiator full at all times.

What you did when you opened the bleeder with the car hot is released the build up pressure...the same as opening the rad.cap.

Rims look sweeeetttt though.

Look at the 01-03 civic diy thread, and post a pic of what your wiring is like on there. ie. lay it out on the ground and take a pic

Babied her today. Spent 4 or so hours in the driveway. Hand Wash, Hand Wax, 2 coats of sealant, cleaned and dressed the undercarriage, vacuumed, dressed, and applied sealant to all things interior and then found it in my heart to do the same to my dad's 2011 F-150 FX4 Supercrew :)
