So, I did my H22 swap a few months ago. Yes, its a little quicker. But, I always want more power. If you haven't read about my swap, here's my current engine stats: JDM H22, Eagle forged rods and Mahle 11.5 to 1 pistons, Cometic head gasket, ARP Head studs, ARP Main studs, ARP rod studs, stock crank & stock head. Bolt ons include header, test pipe, catback, intake. Ignition is MSD coil & Accel wires. I also have a VAFC2. The motor was rebuilt about 1k miles ago, by myself. New rings, bearings, gaskets, belts, etc.
I daily drive the car, so I built it for reliability. My goal is to be able to still drive it daily, but also have some power for the occassional street battle/ track meet. Before you suggest it, no I don't have money for a turbo otherwise it would have one.
My Question is, is there anyone running a H22 who has reliably been running nitrous for a while, like more than 1yr. If so, what system and jet. (NOS, ZEX, 50 shot, 60 shot?)
