So I'm looking to achieve a deeper grumble from my accord from the exhaust end. Already I achieved a deep grumble from my CAI and Headers when the rpm's go around 2k+.

Exhaust wise it's quiet in the back, I replaced the CAT with a highflow when i needed to replace the old one, The rest of the exhaust piping is the same (Besides the headers).

I'm thinking about adding a Super 44 Flowmaster (Keep the piping 2.25) hoping to get a deeper sound from the back even if it's just a small change. What I'm worried about is that raspy or rice sound or even a tinny sound. Anyone have any experience with this? I've gone a few pages back and did a couple of searchs hoping to find someone else doing it but seems All I can find is people wanting to go dual exhaust or just whole catback systems

If you upgrade to 3" piping and delete your resonator, you can acheive a deeper sound. Hope this helps.

I wouldn’t go with anything larger than 2.5” unless you do any motor work, or turbocharge, etc.

An Apexi or Magnaflow muffler would give a nice sound.

stick with stock sized piping and upgrade to any of the above mentioned exhaust systems.

Youtube a few different setups so you can get an idea as to how they sound.
