Re: RR's 3.2L '99 EX-L Coupe 6MT *Wheel update*

Thank you very much for the comments guys, I can’t tell you how excited I am to see these come together. When I got them, they pretty much needed everything redone so it’s been a long road. Very satisfied with the result, and smile every time I look at them haha. I feel very lucky to own these.

Tires go on Saturday morning. :)

You already know how i feel bout this. :boink:

Care to shine light on what the difference between disk are or point me in the right direction. I would love to learn how they work.

Brad pretty much filled you in. And for VS-XX the most common is the A, I believe. Kevin posted a disk spreadsheet for me that outlined what each size of VS received in terms of what type of disk. Luckily I had A’s, I was concerned because I was trying to fit a BBK behind these. Disk types also vary in thickness, and make a difference when dealing with backspacing. Also, the curvature of the “spokes” come into play.

If you want to see that spreadsheet I can dig it up for you. I’m sure it’s online somewhere too.

Wow, I want those now.

What are those wheels anyway?

Work VS-XX. 3pc

Thought they'd be silver.... :hide:

Still look good. This type of wheel and color combo looks outstanding on everything.

Christopher, if I may; why did you go with a wider wheel in the rear? Is it for "poke" reasons or are you jumping on the ol' bandwagon?

Specs:
F 18 x 8 +38 (2” lip)
R: 18 x 8.5 +31 (2.5” lip)
Tires will be 225/40 F & R.

He wont be poking with his rears. Going by the height he likes, these specs should make his wheels flush.

They would be flush if he ran an 18x8 +38 (2" lip) in the rear...?
