    No, the door lock can be opened by pulling the button up. It just wont pop up when I use the lock switch or the remote.

    power door locks

    My driver side door locks fine, it just wont unlock without using the key or manually pulling up on the button. I need to fix it for safety reasons, since I just started parking in a park-and-ride lot in the middle of nowhere. I don't like the idea of fumbling with a key to get into my car.

    Oh, THAT bolt! I was looking at the wrong bolt! The one with the gear on it - to move the headlight up and down. Makes sense now. I thought the bolt was behind the front of the headlight - and the battery is in the way. Thanks! Andy
