I was hoping for some intelligent feedback. There are always technical ways and back yard ways of doing many things. Even tho i figured i get some kids that just like to hear themselves talk would post useless stuff. I can see that you are a real Einstein yourself with your responce. :jerkit:
Look man, yall can contradict what i say all day long. Im not interested in trying to prove u wrong. Im not ur average *** clown. Im middle aged and was a honda tech for 6 yrs until 5 yrs ago. Theres alot that i dont know. But there is also things that i do. But i will tell u what i will do. If...
Well i dont really care what u believe or dont. Ive checked it several times after a trip. Its quite simple. Stop at ur local gas station.Write down the mileage on ur odometer and reset ur trip meter so u can compare the two so to make sure they are the same. As u fill up the tank, slow the pump...
When u say the entire cylinder shuts down, i think youre confused. Shutting down means it doesnt fire, not that it doesnt move with the crankshaft like the rest. You cant mechanically disconnect the rod pushing the piston from the crankshaft. It has to move as the others. Its just dead.

Just looking for some educated useful input. I have a J32A2 motor in my 98 AV6. Im still using the 4AT and a 2000 AV6 PCM. Im just looking to improve highway gas mileage. The original V6 got 33 mpg highway. The type S motor gets 28. Even tho its not bad mileage, i'd like to improve it...
Anyone complete this swap in a 98-99 AV6 in here yet? I have everything. But the PCM from a 00 AV6 I bought wouldnt get recognized by the PGM tester so i couldnt re-code the key to the new PCM. I sent it back to the Junk yard and im waiting for another one. But i kinda doubt it was bad.
I always search before posting, but didnt find anyone with the combo for feedback. Im refering to the shocks that eibach makes specifically for the prokit or sportine springs.
This weekend we should have the rest of the parts to complete his J32A2 w/ 6 speed swap in his 99 TL. Next weekend we should do mine. I have all parts and ready to go. I will still need a Vafc or something to change the vtec crossover from the AV6 3500 rpm to the acura 4800.
