    Camber adjustment?!

2002 accord tires have about a year on them, new lower ball joint, new tie rods, new upper arm with ball joint, original shocks and springs. It looks like I have a VERY slight negative camber in the front, front tires are worn MUCH more on the inside edges on both sides. Took it to the local...

    auto tranny fuid replacement

I know this topic has been covered before and I have seen very different answers/suggestions but.... Here is my dilemma... 2002 coupe 4 cyl. currently 144k miles. Last time tranny fluid replaced was at 62k miles. Fluid is dark brown, when wiped on a white tissue you still see the dark pink...

EMPI vs CARDONE vs OEM axles

I didnt mean the warranty isnt important... I mean, I rather have a solid axle and the warranty but hope that I wouldnt have to use the warranty. Warranty is important, I agree. You said you had to replace them 4 times already....how long did they last each time? Thanks

EMPI vs CARDONE vs OEM axles

lifetime warranty is cool but I rather not have to use it... Ive been researching this and a lot of places say to use Honda replacements as the driveshaft is nothing to be careless about. I would like something that will last me a while without any issues rather than keep taking advantage of a...

EMPI vs CARDONE vs OEM axles

99 accord, both outer boots are cracked and grease all over. I am leaning towards replacing the entire axle assemblies...it is a '99 with 140k miles so might as well. CARDONE SELECT (non-rebuilt, all new made in China) - $45 EMPI ~ $45 OEM - ~ $400 Any experiences with EMPI? CARDONE...

    Rear suspension

Tires are getting cupped. When pushing down on the rear, there isn't much play and no bouncing around. I know the rear is much different than the front as far as suspension components go. In the front I replaced the control arms (including upper ball joints) and lower ball joints. But what...

    Ball joints tightening

Just replaced upper and lower front ball joints 2 months ago. I hear popping, I go and try to tighten them and the nut is just spinning not tightening. I guess the threads are gone. I used to always tighten ball joints as hard as possible... should I not? Should I follow torque specs (what...

Wheel bearing & ball joint suggestions

Any good places where I can get the bearing already pressed into the hub and buy the set? Machine shop will charge me $40 for replacing each bearing....might as well get the hub too if the bearing is already in.

Wheel bearing & ball joint suggestions

2002 coupe SE, I have to replace the wheel bearings in the front. I figured I might as well do ball joints since I'm there and I do need new brake rotors. Should I go with Honda parts? They do run a little more expensive than others. Any suggestions/experiences with certain brands and places to...

Humming noise from front wheels...wheel bearing?

Hello everyone. I have a 2002 coupe with 150k miles. Whenever driving above 50mph on a nice smooth surface I hear a humming noise coming from the front left wheel. I got new tires, balanced and I hear a little less but still hums. Could this be the wheel bearings? There is no play when the car...

    tranny fluid.

I have the same problem on hand. Ive got 115k and I believe the last time the fluid was replaced was at 30k ... and thats a MAYBE since I bought it certified at 36k. Now 115k and after calling 4 different Honda dealerships, 3 out of the 4 told me to leave it alone. They told me that if it wasnt...
