    i adjusted the valves and the noise as stopped. i'll put up a sound click of how it sounded before i adjusted them (for ppl with the same problem but arnt sure). thanks for all the help.

    cool. i'll try to get a video/audio clip the next time its loud. if its just a valve adjustment would it damage anything within the engine if gone untreated? also how would i go about checking my mounts?

    hey i have a 2001 accord 4 cyl. and in has a knocking sound. its always there but some days its louder than usual, there is no really pattern to wen its louder. its a consistent sound and it speeds up as i rev up. it is coming from the front of the engine. i suspected the water pump went bad...
