I have a 99 sedan with a 2.3 vtec...randomly the ABS light will come and as soon as it does all power to the climate control including power to the blower motor shuts off. Then the light will go off and the fan comes back on...has anybody ever seen this before?? any help would be appreciated.
okay ive searched but im still a little confused..do i have to switch the obd2 iacv for an obd1 iacv? and if so the ports on the obd1 valve are round and the ones on the obd2 valve are square..how is that going to work? if anybody has a write up for this i would appreciate it..
okay so I had an idling issue where the car would idle at 2400rpm and i was told it was probably a vacuum leak in my intercooler piping..so today i completely redid my piping and made sure it was perfect..did a boost leak test and there is no leak..but the car still idles at 2400rpm and the idle...
quick question for those who are on a p28..since i switched over to obd1 my guage cluster hasnt worked..when i plug the stock obd2 ecu in everything works though..has anybody ever had this problem?
the wastegate that i was using was a cheap ebay one so im not surprised it failed..just got lucky it didnt fail under boost. Just swapped it out for a turbosmart wastegate and awaiting another tune. The tuner that I used hadnt had prior experience with a f23 but the tune seemed to be pretty...
UPDATE: car was all put together and was tuned on a p28 at 7 pounds...wastegate ended up failing when i started it one day so the wastegate was stuck open at idle setting the idle at 2600..so awaiting a replacement wastegate and then getting dyno tuned at 9 pounds..on a stock motor
Like i said I guess Ill see what happens..I'm going to tune it at 8lbs to start and see where i can go from there. I have a spare f23 block and a skunk2 H22 head sitting in my garage waiting so if it blows i am ready to do the swap
supposedly there is a tuner in tennessee making like 312whp on stock motor so i dont know..i guess it might be possible...if it blows up though im doing the G23 swap

I wasnt planning on running any specific tuning software just yet but a local honda shop said they could tune it and make it safe using a wideband and a safc. I have a 255 walbro pump and now that I know dsm injectors will work I'll go with those. My plan is to try to run around 6lbs of boost...
