What part of Wisconsin are you from btw? I just took a mini vacation in my Accord last month to the Dells ironically. Timken units generally aren't too bad. I used one of their hubs on a 92 Civic EX I used to have. Hub bearings are weird in regard to country of origin. I've seen Duralast hubs...

Also fwiw I was a commercial manager at Autozone for 3 years. I would NOT use any parts store brand suspension parts on any of my vehicles. Other than the higher end stuff they make for American performance cars (UPR, QA1, etc) the only aftermarket suspension stuff I'll use is Moog.

Greetings from the Chicago area! Definitely a clean car, and in a very nice color. I have pretty much the same thing, but a black '98. If/when you're there for the upper ball joint, I'd do the lower ball joint, tie rods, and control arm bushings as well. I'd go with all O.E.M stuff where...

My next daily and my CG news

You do realize a Lexus is a Toyota right? Like how when you look at the manufacturers door jamb tag on any Acura it says Honda Motors Its like someone saying they absolutely refuse to buy a Ford, but they love Lincoln Town Car's....

RIP Accord. My '99 Accord is dead.

Agreed! If you have a buddy that is handy with a wrench you guys could get it done in one long day in a drive way.

    6th gen NSX

Haha very nice, never saw that one before. Love the NSX, but would have a real hard time justifying $30-40k for a '92 anything

My next daily and my CG news

Sounds like you guys have learned a valuable lesson. ANY Nissan post-Renault take-over is a piece of crap. They have piss poor R&D, engineering budgets and dead lines half that of Honda or Toyota, and they use lower quality materials. This is coming from someone who has 2 Nissan's in my garage...

Unfortunately really the only route to go for anyone that wants to get out of 15's in the 1/4 miles and stay 4 cyl

Agreed. If you're going to be swapping trans' might as well just go H22. H series has/had a strong aftermarket support and is pretty stout stock. 190HP off the bat with a manual transmission would be nothing to sneeze at in these cars There is no point in modifying anything while the car is...

Automatic tranny will NOT come out

Mine is a 5 speed, and I've never swapped an auto trans in a Honda, but are you sure its just not being stubborn? Some cars are worse than others. The manual trans on S13 240sx's is hard to get out and down right notorious for its reputation of being a real joy to mate back with the engine...

WTB: 6th gen genuine leather shifter knob ( MT )

    WTB: 6th gen manual parts

I'd go with a salvage yard on Ebay for the CV axles, pedal assembly, and shifter. The master cylinder and trans mount I would hit rockauto.com Are you swapping from auto to manual?

What are the new parameters for posting a thread in the classifieds section? First time logging on in quite a while after bouncing around the midwest a bit for a work so in a bit of a shell shock over the new site lay out and changes lol

Anyone running the cheap Ebay F23 header?

Sounds good. Definitely tempting for the money, and I've already ditched the cat.

Would a front windshield from a 98 four door fit a 02 coupe?

I would go with the above ^, but Aaron's auto glass, who my work outsources our glass to, has them listed as the same windshield in their inventory.

Yes. Windshield is the exact same

Anyone running one of the cheap Chinese headers off Ebay? Seems tempting, but not looking for a hassle in the future if they wrap/crack as some cheapie aftermarket headers are prone to...

    Hello world

Welcome aboard. I have pretty much the exact same car, down to the mileage and all, but a '98. Not a bad car to cut your teeth on and begin to wrench on cars with.
