    UPDATE Well the engine is out. I yanked it early Thursday evening. Yesterday I pulled every thing off except the head and the bottom end. I should have the head off today. The crank to my suprise looks 180 out but I don't have my honda manual around to check it. I'll be able to check it...

    Or you can ignore it all together. The only thing that hole holds is the motor mount bracket. Since there are 3 other bolts that hold the bracket on including 2 that screw into the tranny I wouldn't think one messed up hole would be a big deal.

    I have heard of a lot of H22's spinning bearings. Well anyway you must have missed me saying that the whole engine was locked up. I can't get the crank to move period. So I would say that it's done. Type-S is nice but Mahle looks nice too. I will be looking for 9k after all of this mess.

    Doesn't work that way, the fast thermal valve sits inside the IACV and the only way to test if its miss align/broken is when the engine starts with its irratic idle you cover the hole infront of the throttle plate and it should go away, that or unplug the IACV.     OMG these are old. My car hasn't looked like that in a long time. I still miss the lip, but I don't miss replacing it every year. Mine are still the same, I'm the only one left :( . But hopefully that will change down the road :thumbsup:
