I expected to see some beat up rusted car or truck. Even to say it's a work car, isn't there another one you could find with better mpg?

Re: Some of my small projects....works in progress
^If your going to do body work to the bumpers (if you can afford it) it might not be a bad idea to go with some quality products.
Like, lord fusor (adhesives) if needed or a flexible body filler- couldn't recommend any, but I've heard it's...
Just to add, you would have to clean the filter quite often. It would get as dirty as often as your front bumper does.
I haven't tried any kind of a set up like that, but I'd imagine it would make your throttle response atrocious.
^It's kinda funny but not really. Your lucky to be alive. The car should be your last concern. That kind of stuff should be done on a closed course with all saftey percautions considered. I hope you didn't have a passenger with you, to say the least.

Here's a link with some really good info. Is it ok to include this link into the diy I'm writing? Iacv cleaning is a whole-nother project in it's self, and I don't think I could explain it as well in my diy...
For sure. I'll make it as comprehensive as I can. But i'll put it together so that someone reading it won't feel like they're mentally retarted. I get that all the time, little do they know ...I am half retarted! hahahhaha (but I think with the better part of my brain)
Re: You know you drive an 6th gen Accord when....
That's the beauty of Michigan, you could drive open headers and the police probably wouldn't even think any of it (not that I suggest that).
^Just take off the plenum, if you want to use a standard torque wrench (they're maybe small torque wrenches that I don't know about). If you do remove the plenum, you should replace the plenum gasket and iacv gasket too.
...I'm taking my IM off at the moment, I could put up a 172 picture DIY...
Re: You know you drive an 6th gen Accord when....
^hahahah my air bags probably don't even work, got sick of the srs light so I pulled it. I drive safer knowing I could end up eating a steering wheel sandwich.
[edit]- the rear lights are fuse 10 (according to wire diagram)
Let me know if that's right, I hate wiring diagrams cause they're labeled horribly. If I had any less of of a life than I already do, I'd re-draw all the diagrams lol!
