Beat the heat Accord meet!! Austin, Tx 9-21-13

Man this sounds kinda cool. I hope to make it but most likely wont cause I'll be working the race that weekend. Also its probably good that I won't because my car might end up being the ugliest one. (To y'all)

    Moto GP

I was a track marshal. Basically when the riders go down, we run out and pick them, the bikes, or any debris up. I got to take home some souvenirs. A moto2 rider wrecked coming into the turn and the race was red flagged for a while. Jasper Iwema is his name. It was a nasty fall. And yes this is...

    Moto GP

It was really fun. I was working on the inside of turn 17. Real good spot. Don't wait till next year man, the v8s will be here in about three weeks and the ticket packages are cheap for a three day pass. I'll be working there again and the good thing about that is COTA gives the workers free...

What'd you do to your accord today?

Today was maintenance day. Cleaned the EGR, IM, TB, changed fluids. I would have liked to wash it but there's never ending construction dirt and mud around here, not worth it yet. On a side note, I'm pretty excited. I got a job conformation at the COTA, start next Thursday, track marshal, free...

Easy fix, gone wrong. uhhh ohhh

Get a tap and die set. I used the 3/32 tap out drill bit to get a pilot hole started. Then, you tap a reversible screw extractor with a hammer till it bites, then drill or unscrew it outta there. Extcactor size doesn't really matter, as long as it bites in the pilot hole. Good luck

What'd you do to your accord today?

Took a week to rebuild my transmission, but I finally got it pieced together and put back in. My friend works with Kenworth and is a transmission specialist so I bought what I needed and everyday after he got out of work, he showed me how it all works and what went wrong. This is the second time...

Red Bull F1 comes to Texas video

Yeah this happened like a month or two ago. I was there. The car drove down Congress Ave (Main Street in front of the capital). Those donuts were done by the Texas museum down the street from the UT campus. My cousin unfortunately moved before the track was announced it was being built. His...

What'd you do to your accord today?

Sidemarkers installed. They don't look too bad. It took like 2 hrs with a couple beers.

What'd you do to your accord today?

I picked up some sidemarkers from the junkyard off a Volvo for $3. I think they look better than the civic ones. Then I got a black steering wheel for $10. It needs to be cleaned alittle but its in better condition than my original. Now to start cutting.

    My SR20 Datsun 510

I've seen only one 510 in person along time ago at a show. Ever since then they have been one of my favorite cars. You don't see those around here in Texas, mostly in the west coast I guess. I've driven plenty of them with all types of swaps and options (On Forza):hide:. But with all respect and...

    Thoughts on these wheels?

Off topic. Are those DIY side markers and are they supposed to be slanted? Anyways as SleeperCell said, you might need alittle more cosmetics to pull those wheels off but they would definatley look good color wise with what you got.

    1999 Accord ex sedan, leaking!!

You also might wanna check the distributor. The O-ring wears out and the oil drips out pretty fast. I just bought that earlier for $2 as well as the heater hose ($18) because the oil dripped onto the hose, it wore out and busted today while driving.

What'd you do to your accord today?

What'd you do to your accord today?

I live in Manor, like 5 min eastern outskirts of the city, but I'm always cruisin around and doin stuff. I'm sure if anybody saw my car, they would realize its me due to the fact that it's ugly.

What'd you do to your accord today?

Gave it a hug and kiss and thanked him for toughing it out and making it to and back from Galveston for some fishing. Now gotta clean the bug juice off of him.

What'd you do to your accord today?

Another homemade cheap mod. Noticed my brake lights have been on this whole time I've been off work (since noon). I guess the little brake thing on the pedal that keeps the lights off is like a made of wax washer. Rolled up some paper and now the lights stay off like they're supposed to...

    Oil leak

It could also maybe your distributor o-ring. I leak a ton of oil and have already changed the Vtec soleniod and little things and have been down as far as the rear mains seal and nothing. Just stick your hand and reach on the bottom of the distributor. Maybe it's around there. My .02 cents but...

Is their anything that can be done to shine engine block?

When I do random maintanence (like everyday), I'll just waste time by cleaning with wire brushes, terry cloth, and some kind of soap. So far it's cleaned it pretty good but I'm not going for prestineness. It looks cleaner though than what the rest of my car looks like.
