I'm running a 225/45/18 +45 on 7.5 width tires on a coupe. I'm changing from my Eibach springs to FF2s so I'm trying to get as a precise fitment as I can without having to change wheels. So what I'm looking into are spacers.

If I run a 10mm on my rear, it looks like it will be pretty close to my stock fender. After I roll, I'm unsure if this will be enough. Another concern is if I put them on, if I will need to cut my oem studs which I would not enjoy. I'm not sure how my wheels look on the inside but I'm taking a peek tomorrow.

If I run a 15mm on my rear, it looks like it will mexiflush my stock fender but after I roll I think it will look perfect. I just don't want to look like a poser trying to go wide with thin wheels.

So Ichiba V2 10mm possibly with cut studs or 15mm with still a possibility of cut studs?

Can someone with these v2 spacers chime in and tell me what they had to do for their spacers to fit?

Thank you.

First of all, with an 18x7.5 wheel you should be running a 225/40 tire or 215/40. And if you go with anything larger than a 5mm spacer, you need to replace your studs with longer ones.

How low do you plan to go?

yeah do 15mm in the rear and 5mm in the front or 20mm in the rear and 10mm in front. it wouldn't rub that bad. you would have pull your fender a little

I agree, with a 7.5 and +45 you should go 5mm in front and 15mm in back

any more and it's either not going to look right or start to interfere with your driving ability

It depends how low you're gonna go. Anywhere from 3" down, you'll need 20mm cause of te camber.

But 15mm will be just fine if you don't want to be completely flush

Yeah I'm aware I have to downsize my tire. It'll be my next change after a couple more thousand miles on them.

With my fronts, it looks like at the current offset it will be poking out a bit but this is still on a stock fender. How much clearence will rolling the front give me?

And concerning the 15mm spacer. I'm looking into getting the Ichiba V2 so when it bolts to my oem stud it will be as flush as possible onto the spacer and I won't have to cut anything. Did anyone with these spacers have the cut their oem studs? With the 5mm spacer, should I just get the V1 and lose a couple threads for my lugnuts?

Then again, you're pointing this out at your current height. If you go coilovers.. you'll be dropped more so if you get spacers that are wide enough to make your wheels poke at your current height, it should not be poking once you slap on those coilovers. Know what I mean?

Just measure those tabs.. if you roll/shave/bend them, that's how much more clearance you're gonna get basically.
