Yes, if the other chip that I try today doesn't perform any better, than I am banking on my tuner being able to fix it, which I don't doubt him one bit.

You'll probably have to strip all the boost parts, ship them to me and go back to running a stock setup......those things happen, Nikita. Can't win 'em all.

Where did you have vtec engaging before? if its set too low it will actually lose power. But Im glad you figured it out.

ROFLMAO! I hope this will be the case...

I just called Xenocron, and Chris told me that he set the VTEC to engage at 4600RPM.. That may be the problem right there, is that I simply have not even revved the car high enough to engage it hahaha!!

I'm going to go out now and give it a good rev (in vacuum).

On my stock OBD2 setup, the VTEC engaged anywhere between 2300 and 3900 RPM.

By the way, I put in that other chip that he gave me, and the car rides like buttah! I am staying out of positive pressure, but the car idles and runs soo smoothly now! VTEC works, I just never rev it that high lol.

I also installed a Megan Racing FPR today, and I must say that it was a b*tch.
I got it to fit right, but it took a few hours. The O-ring on the stock FPR is a little to skinny for the insert provided with the Megan Racing one, so I had to go to Ace hardware and buy a thicker O-ring to fit. I also had to buy another fitting to connect the fuel lines, since stock fuel line was smaller in diameter than the fitting and diameter of the line used in the kit. Buying barb adapter was needed, and after those things were gotten I installed it and it holds solid pressure perfectly. I really like how it has a gauge too.

As a temporary monitoring, I bought a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I know mechanical encounters the risk of leakage, but I am going to chance it. If it fails then I have backup routes. Oil leak will be fixed today as well, fingers crossed. I bought a Fram filter instead of the Mobil 1 and OEM Honda one, since it has the thickest and widest gasket, which is exactly what I need in this situation due to the leak.

By the way, does anyone know what the oil pressure should normally be at in a turbo accord? I'd like to find know so I can monitor for problems when I install the pressure gauge.

Did you get my oil lines today yet? Getting the oil pressure sensor off is a pain in the ***. Your probably going to have to cut off that black cover over the sensor. It requires a really big deep socket. I cant remember the size, but ill post it up if I remember. Just remember not to over tighten the tee in the block, you dont want to strip the threads in the block., and use teflon tape.

Thanks Nate! I'm headed to my friends place soon where the item was shipped, so I'll let you know. Thank you for the advice regarding fitment, and do you know what the oil pressure should be at normally after I install my mechanical gauge? I'm headed out there now, so please shoot me a text if you can regarding normal oil PSI.

did the oil filter stop the leak? My fram one leaked.but i did reuse it.ha since i change my oil ever 1500miles and i bought the ultra one that lasts 15000miles.lol

anyways, at start up cold; the gauge went straight to 80+..drove and it went pass 100+ almost to the needle again.
once warmed up it idled around 20-25..dropped to 10-15 sometimes. then driving it rose to about 80+
hope that helps..

Unfortunately, the new oil filter did not stop the leak, and I discovered that the adapter is not bonded to the block anymore - therefore the leak may be coming from there now. Luckily, tomorrow my oil line and tee should come in, so I will just tap to the block, and also tap the oil pressure gauge in between. Right now the oil pressure gauge is tapped to the adapter and it works pretty well.

Idle = 10-15psi
Easy cruising = 40psi constant
Throttle = climbs as high as, but not higher than 80psi.

I've been told that those parameters are an indicator of healthy oil pressure :).

Today, I had an experience of extreme adrenaline and potential to lose all my efforts. Traveling 55mph in the middle on Northwest Expressway where there is a constant flow of traffic, a red SUV merges from an off ramp, right into the middle lane where I'm cruising, right into me, even though far right lane was clear with no traffic! I didn't even have time to honk, and went straight to survival mode. I immediately reacted by braking and turning away and kind of swerving around him. This cleared phase one of the event - I did not get into a collision. Next, I found myself being flung left and right. When I braked, I lost traction, and then corrected to turn right, which spun me that way. Corrected myself to the left side once more, and powerslid right perpendicular to the median to a stop. I'm lucky all the cars behind me stopped. I felt myself hitting the curb in front and thought I f*cked everything up, from lip, to bumper, to intercooler, to breaking my wheels. In reality, I just tore a ziptie on the lip, which didn't even get a scratch on it. I put it in reverse, and pulled off into a parking lot to check the damage, which thank God there wasn't any. The prick who caused all of this just sped off and I wouldn't doubt if they were clueless about what had happened. So basically my experience was like pressing and holding the O button in Gran Turismo 4, combined with surges of adrenaline. :hihi:.

Angels were watching over me tonight. Amen.
