01-02 Coupe Bumper

Is there any way to make a 98-00 type-r grill work on the 01-02 bumpers. I was thinking of maybe cutting off the grill and attaching the type-r grill.

it has been done, but i think you need body work. you cant just cut it out and stuff it in exactly....i dont think haha.

No you cannot do this without any major body work in the grill area. 1nonlyaccord tried it a while back and it didn't work. There were huge gaps everywhere

Alright thanks for the heads up, i won't do it then when i paint my car. Is there anything that i can do to do the front grille?

Put a red H on it... that's about it haha. If your car's red, trade bumpers with me?

He was at the last meet that we went to.

That would look nice if you could fill the gap in a non tacky way.

I thought thAt Johnson just cut the grill out and filled in the holes with bondo or fiberglass?
