Hey guys sort of new here, been lurking around for a while. I've been searching for quite a while and found no definite answer for my question.

Will 16x6.5 +35 fit on my 1998 Accord V6 without any issues? There's a set going for a really good deal and they're mint! I know that my stock wheel size is 15x6.5 +55 with 205/65/15 tires.

My suspension is completely stock, so nothing has been changed since it came out from the factory. This will be the beginning of my list of modifications if all works out right. Any help will be greatly appreciated ! Cheers, Alex.

As long as they are the same lug pattern, they will fit no prob. My only word of caution is that 16's are on the small side for wheels for our cars. Most people have 17's and 18's on here.

I think simon_y had a set of Euro-R wheels, so they will definately fit.

Yes, with room for a pillow fight. You can fit 18x9.5 +15 offset in there with an extreme drop.

I assume you're talking about euro r CL1 wheels and not the CL7. They are actually 16x6.5 +55 offset so its pretty sunken in. This is how they looked on my last set up. But I am running a 25mm spacer in the front and 20mm spacer in the rear. Also those tires in the picture are 205/50/16.

16s are fine. It's a factory wheel. Nothing, other than HFP, came bigger than a 16 on our cars anyway.

Granted, on stock suspension and a lower profile tire, you'll look a little 4x4 but the wheels should still fit.

As everyone else has said, they'll fit. But a drop would definitely benefit the looks with these small wheels.

Thanks for the input guys. Yes simon_y I am looking at the CL1 wheels (btw I love the look of your car  It's the look that I wish to achieve!). The seller said he 'thinks' they are +35 but I'll go with your fact that they are +55, like the stock wheels. Are the spacers necessary or is it just for nice fitment (flush with the side of the car)?
Hopefully my next mod to this car is lowering springs or coilovers, to remove the '4x4 look' haha. My budget isn't very large at the moment so is it best to jump on some springs or really save up for coilovers? I don't really plan to track it as it is my daily drive however my driving is rather .. spirited :D

OP,

I would suggest you save up and get full coils or get a set of Ground Controls and some aftermarket shocks.

+55 offset makes the wheels pretty sunk, and it's not a good looks, so I would definately recommend some spacers.
