I have an extra set of 195/60/15 that have about 90% thread on them. They came off my dad's Mazda. Would these fit / work without problems on my accord? My stock tires are 195/65/15.

Thanks

As dadams said you will lose a bit of sidewall. But with that high of a profile, going from 65 to 60 doesn't really matter ride-wise. The only difference may be your wheels looking a little smaller in the wheel well. Otherwise no problems. Obviously, don't mix these with the 65's.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm looking to replace my bald tires with these. It's my daily commuter. Would it affect gas mileage?

It should not effect ur gas mileage... ur not really changing nething but the thickness of ur tire. the ratio of ur tires didnt change tht much

your speedo will show a higher speed than what youre actually traveling it. so say everyone goes 75 on the highway, youd have to go almost 80 to keep up, which would mean your engine would be higher up in the revs, so technically, youd have worse gas mileage. probably not anything significant, but itd be worse than actually going 75, haha.
