O.k. guys.... I have debated long enough. I want another 6th gen AV6. I really miss my old one and would like to try some new things with another.

That said I have the following car F/S, but would be willing to look at a 98-02 Accord coupe, v6. Color prefrences: Red, white, maybe silver....in trade should anyone be interested in that option.

****New pics of interior and exterior. Will post engine pics soon****
Location: Louisville, ky.
1990 Civic Si, hatch.
Engine: D16A6, 1.6L, Multi-port Injection
Transmission: Manual (Si) 5-speed NO grinds
Gas mileage(combined average): 35 mpg
Mileage: 166,XXX, daily driver
Color: Viper Red

I bought this car for something that was cheap on gas, maintenance, and insurance. I have owned one before and it was a great car, just as this one has been. I drive this car from Lou. to New Alb. Indiana every day and then some.

General description:
Car is 80 % stock. I looked long and hard to find one like this. I did not want a heavily modified car to have to keep up with. Engine was rebuilt around 144,xxx miles. I have receipts from the previous owner that came with car. The clutch was replaced at the same time as the engine rebuild.
Does NOT SMOKE OR BURN ONE DROP OF OIL! Transmission shifts nicely. Was painted Viper Red around 9/12. Washed and waxed regularly. Car didn’t come with a/c from factory. But I have collected everything except condenser, fan, and compressor. Including a BRAND NEW Honda evaporator core ($400)! A/C was a bolt on option from Honda and I was going to install my self later this year.

Maintenance items:
Recent-Distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil, igniter. O.e. style NGK plug wires, plugs. Rear hatch gas lifts. Both front seat belts replaced from Honda.(NO SAG!) Upper radiator hose, rad cap. Tail light mounting gaskets. Main relay. All three wipers.
From previous owner-Radiator, speedometer cable, Exhaust from catalytic conv. to muffler was replaced with o.e. spec system.

Interior:
Very good, 95% original. Have added the Integra armrest console for use of cup holders, storage and armrest. Have nice o.e. console as well. Does have usual wear on driver’s seat, side bolster. Other seats are mint, and so is the rear deck lid cover. Dash is in great condition, and all climate controls work perfectly.
Exterior:
Viper Red paint. Original Si front bumper chin spoiler in great condition. Amber corners and bumper lights. Chip in passenger headlight, but have very mint o.e. replacements for both sides. There is a 1” size spot of Honda cancer in the rear, driver’s quarter. VERY repairable. A 23 year old car does have some dings, and a dent on the hood (where the “H” emblem goes) But nothing major on the body at all. Other than that, the out side is original with no modifications.

Add on’s:
-15” Rota Auto X type. Very Good condition, NO CURB RASH!
-85% good tread on tires
-Front coil overs with sleeves, rear cut springs (rides surprisingly well)
-Energy shifter bushings, with short throw/ hook back shifter. ( Did for two reasons: bushing where wore out, and the new shift clears the cup holder better)
-Integra center console (can be easily removed and o.e. one reinstalled)
-Audio: Single din, flip out, touch screen. Infiniti Reference door speakers, and Infiniti Kappa rear corners.
-Magnaflow muffler, with dual outlet Bosal tip. Deeper mellow tone, nothing too loud or annoying. (Get a lot of compliments on it)

Price:
$4200 with wheels/tires, $3800 without. Again, may consider trade, but cash sale prefered.

Saw this coming. :lawl:

I’m not much for Civics but that thing is so nice for how old it is, it really looks good for what it is. I hope it sells to someone who won’t rat it up like so many other old Civics out there. Hard to find these in good shape.

Good luck with the 6GA search Daniel.

So now the post is up. Good luck with finding another 6thGen. I'll be in frequently and help in any way I can. But those craigslist ads should of helped a bit

Thanks RedRyder. I have had fun with it, but it is a different world when you drove a 6th gen for over 5 years.

Thanks for the ads too puzzlemaster. I think looking through them helps me keep the fire going.
