thanks man..as long as it looks black..but hint of blue pearl in direct sunlight..im happy.
and no flopping colors like my last BMW blue..half purple one way blue the other.ha

update 11.22:
car is painted! Im very happy with the results. due to this being inside a garage.
Have 2 really big runs on my drivers door and alot of trash,the gun kept spraying clear chunks for some reason all over the car..so I have enough clear to buff out.
Hopefully my bumpers and lip kits will come back alive after a very slick sand and buff job.Im praying.
now the crappy thing is ill hve to live with how it looks until after thanksgiving for a full buff and detail.so wont have completed pictures until 2 weeks.

base:

1st coat of clear-still was having gun setting issues;

4th coat of clear,settings good except cheap gun shooting crap out.

thanks man...thats why im not going to beat myself up about the results..this is not a professional job my any means..DIY in an open garage..so for what it is im happy..If any remember my last thread 150$ DIY paint job..this turned out tons better! so after buffing will be even better.

the color is now a factory honda color again,nighthawk black blue pearl.

Oh ok, well, you can really see the NHBP in the pic of the gaslid.

For all the work you put in to it, I am sure only you would notice imperfections.

I hope so! 1500,3000 the whole car then compound,swirl and polish..another 100$+ right there..haha

Monty, did you do any of the interior pieces as well?

I would have, I think that would have been a nice touch to carry the colour to the interior.

No,I really wanted to paint my woodgrain radio bezel,shifter,window controls..but I couldnt,as mentioned I couldnt get a clean tape off the bezel vents.so maybe find a black overlay or something. only thing i didnt get out of this project..
