I remember reading this on Autoblog and they found it a little ridiculous that it only took Honda 8 years to be made aware of the problem.
At least the NHTSA is doing their job.
Has honda done anything right on the 6thgen accords ?
first the transmission recalls, egr recalls, various other electric issues, and now this. My mom drives a 2001 accord, and I plan on calling the stealership about this sh*t.

i think they also have a recall on headlights or something about the amber strip. on the 2001. and seat belt buckles. but that was about a couple years ago. ima check it out on monday. freebies for new stuff! lol to save lives!
