if u run nitrous all the time and do it stupid, then yes.... it will destroy your engine.

come to think of it, an aftermarket intake will cause your engine to die

why don't you just get a v6 , we already have 200 horses :)
you'd need awhole lot more than just the motor to make the j30 run right in an i4 accord... almost everything under the hood needs to be replaced or repositioned.. also i think he was looking for 200whp not crank... j30 makes around 170whp

nitrous is the devil, if your gonna do it then dont even use a jet just run an open line cause either way your gonna kill your engine. That button is a disease. Nitrous is a beautiful woman with syphilis and no rubbers in sight. So yeah if you want syphilis then go for it, my friend has it and its awsome.
GTFO. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

Here's the deal...nitrous can be a very safe power adder if you know what you are doing. It is a great way to add real power and 200whp is not difficult at all with nitrous. Here are the things you absolutely must consider before spraying on your Accord...

1) You need at least two step colder plugs. I have used Zex plugs in the past with good luck.
2) Run premium fuel when spraying nitrous. The higher octance the better to help avoid detonation.
3) Definately get an rpm-activated window switch. This will save your transmission from getting ruined if you spray through shifts. I ruined my stock auto tranny because I didn't use this device. With a window switch, you can set the nitrous to spray only within certain rpm levels. If your car shifts at WOT at say 5,000 rpms, you would want the nitrous to shut off at 4900 rpms.
4) You can safely spray up to a 75 shot with just plugs, intake, and exhaust. Many people have sprayed bigger shots all day with no problems, but the decision to push the envelope is left up to you.
5) Wet kits are better than dry, and unless you are going all out and racing with a built motor, a direct port kit is 100% overkill.
6) An alternative to pulling timing if you don't have an aftermarket ignition is to use a mixture of race gas. I had great results with 50% 92 octane fuel and 50% 100 octane unleaded race fuel on a 75 shot.

If you have any other questions, let me know. Good luck:thumbsup:

Oh, I almost forgot...check out this thread. Nitrous DOES NOT kill motors!!!

for $165 at maxbore
and roughly $400 from bisi you think it'd be possible to see 200WHP from those, I/H/E, and a tune?
