i am somewhat relieved to hear that.
lets learn from mistake, be glad that no one was seriously injured or killed, and move on/make sure not to make same mistake twice.

Sucks dude... usually airbags deployed = total loss by insurance companies.

Yes, but, insurance will claim it as a full loss if you have comprehensive/collision insurance. If they pay you money to replace the car, they own it, so you couldn't fix it if you wanted to. Liability however, you could replace the bags and try to get a salvage title for it.

It's also like you will need to replace most, if not all of that corner of the car's suspension. I slide into a curb at 20mph, had to replace most of it.
