I just need a simple answer, because someone is waiting on me to let them if I'm going to buy this from them or not. Will a 4cyl cat back bolt up to my V6 without any modification, or are the pipes curved a different way? Thanks for responding.. like I said.. I searched but no answer was given.:squintrun:

Just in case any future optimists decide to do this.....DO NOT! it won't work. I'm sorry, I know what you're thinking...it won't work. the piping from the axle back is not even close to the same. OH WELL. let my misfortune save you the hassle. It cost me $70 to have the muffler shop fix the brand new exhaust....OY VEY. i feel the i told you so's coming on..

So when you say it's not even close to the same, what exactly is different? I believe the cat mounting / flange will be different but is the resonator a different size or different location? Does it not fit at all or just slight modifications necessary? $70 doesn't sound like a serious modification was necessary.

It's obvious that it wasn't going to simply bolt up. What did the muffler shop have to do? Post up pics if you can.

why was that obvious? measuring it the mid pipe, cat back to the Y split everything is good, but right after the Y they sent me some strange "s" pipe that didn't make any sense. I'll post pics later

$70 is a rip, my exhaust guy charges me $5 a weld for any type of exhaust work, even if it's right on my downpipe and requires removal.

I guess it's time to buy the right exhaust for your car, fab your own, and/or find a more reasonable exhaust professional.

Sounds interesting though, I wouldn't mind seeing pics either.
