I had 35w 5000k on my Trans Am and then switched to my spare 55w ballasts and couldn't really tell a difference but the light output sucks on my car so that could be the reason...and my housings were fine and they are smaller than the low beam on the Accord

Seriously, you're a dick if you use 55 watt HID kits, there's no reason what so ever.

Yeah 55w is too bright. I can already see significant glare off of my 35w kit so I can only imagine the glare on a 55w. Maybe if you put them in a retro they'll be fine, but on stock reflectors...thats a big NO NO! Some people will argue against 35w kits in reflectors let alone a 55w

....

I plan on aiming them extremely far down and doing everything possible to make it so they do NOT blind people.

Also, i was asking about it in a different post, but i wired up my high beams(standard bulbs) to an AUX switch so that on long drives I can use my "aimed down" brights without using the HID's.

**Lights come in today!!
