I'm so happy and proud that you got this done Chris! Let me just say something about the innovative mounts. They do wear in a LITTLE bit, so it won't vibrate as bad because of that, and at the same time you will become used to it very quickly. At first it feels really foreign like your car is being shaken/falling apart/something's wrong with it... but once you become comfortable with pushing your engine some and are driving it daily, what vibration still exists won't bother you as much.

Also- Don't worry too much about what passengers will think... I worried about that for a while and kept telling people why it vibrates, but no one ever asked me. If they know you're an enthusiast and you have done work on your car... they tend not to question strange noises and feelings haha.

Enjoy your car man. I hope to get a j32 swap done in my car one day... but the 6 speed alone really turns the j30 into a beast too.

I agree with Mikey 1000000%

Cruise control works! Used last night going across the city. So happy...Rich is the freakin man.

Thanks for the motivation. This is on my to do list...actually it is an obsession that I have. I am anticipating the DIY. Maybe after I finish, I'll stop thinking about swapping and more about driving.

It pretty much needs to be an obsession in order for it to happen. If you're not committed, you won't feel comfortable with it.

ive said it since the day i swapped... completely changes the car

Pretty much sums it up. It truly is a completely different car.

Thanks RJ. I've heard from a few people that the mounts break in a little bit, so how long does it take for that to happen? Yeah aside from the shaking inside, the rattles from the dash, etc almost "cheapen" the feel of the car for me, which is what makes me worry what others think. I also feel like it's harder on the car and making various things wear more quickly...but I think that's all in my head. lol

I feel like I could have walked away happy with just the 6spd. But then for the minimal added cost, all I could think was..."why the hell not?" haha

if i make it to IA ill show you want 95A feels like :p

lol. deal.

lol well I'll tell ya right now, it won't be like the ride you gave me last year in your car cuz I'm not that good yet. Plus I feel like I've been hard enough on the new clutch just when I was learning to drive it, haha. But happy to give ya a ride in it. :)

I still haven't figured out how to get my Temp gauge to work after the swap.

Wish I could have been more help man, but I don't know what Rich did for the wiring part of things. Seems like if you asked on V6P someone would have some info for you.

I can't figure out how to get my dash to not look like Christmas with all the lights.

This would drive me NUTS! lol And I'd worry when something actually was wrong with the car I wouldn't know. You sure Rich's module is hooked up correctly?

Is not your fault man. You've been helpful enough.
There's some info on V6P regarding this issue but nobody cares to elaborate further.

On a different note. Does anyone know if the Pspec short shifter for the i4 accord will fit the CL 6spd shifter ?
