What up 6GA? I drop in occasionally and do some research regarding any projects I am working on so I am not too new. I recently swapped my motor due to a spun bearing and want to thank everyone for the helpful information I found on the site that got me through the process. Anyway, here is my ride after the swap. I bought the car with some mods so I don’t know the manufacture of some parts on the car. I will try my best to explain and load pic’s as I have had trouble in the past. Have mercy, I haven’t washed her after the swap.

Engine/Performance:

- DIY F23A1 to F23A1 swap (completed 11/15/12)
- 5sp Manual Tranny
- AEM SRI
- Megan Racing Headers
- Greddy Evo Muffler
- Custom 2.5” exhaust (no Cat’s)

Suspension:

- Lowering Springs (Unknown brand about 2-2.5”)
- Four point upper strut bar

Interior:

-Stock Interior
-Aftermarket JVC Radio
-800W Kenwood Amp
-1000W Polk Audio Sub
-2gauge Wiring from battery to Amp

Cosmetic:

- 16” black aluminum rims (unknown brand)
- Tinted stock taillights
- 5% tint all around
- 8000k HID Kit
- Clifford Alarm

Future Mods:

- Megan E Street Coilovers
- Camber Kit
- Build my spare F23A1 High Comp(not too much) and turbo (shooting for 300whp but want to keep it a daily driver)
- Stage 1 or 2 clutch (depending on HP gains after next project)
- Redo Interior
- Repaint Pearl White

Welcome to the site.

Enjoy.

That front bumper looks like it needs some love.....or soap and water.

Plans for a lip kit?

Looks like a good start. By 4 point strut do you mean the oem strut reinforcements?

Re: 6GHonda's Ride - Have Mercy

Not sure what sideskirts they are. Came with the car when I bought it. Still debating if I should leave them and add a lip kit or just remove them. Only problem is... the roads in abq NM suck and I scrape all over as it is.

As for the oem four point strut mounts...those were also on the car. First time I have seen them. I was doing some research and found that they are to be just as useful as the upper strut bar. You don't see them on most cars so I thought I would leave them. Let me know what you think.

I believe these strut bars came off of the v6 model accord. I could be wrong. Any and all info and criticism is welcome.

In your opinion, do they serve the same purpose as a strut tower bar? Should I leave em or replace em?
