I had my old 6thgen towed to my house and I took out my new battery and switched it with my currant 6thgen. Along with the lights...and a few other things. But thats because I had the car parked there, I refused to let them take it to a yard.

I think the real issue was potentially jeopardizing the insurance payout. If it was found that Brandon was pulling off parts, he might have lost out on his mod insurance and/or much of the total payout for the car. Insurance seems to discourage taking things off that are bolted on...

I dunno how insurance companies down there are, but here they necessarily do not have to go by the Cop's determination of fault.

My friend got determined to be "at fault" in the accident by State Farm when the police report clearly stated that it was a no fault collision. So I hope your friend isn't up ****'s creek.
