dude glad to hear everyones safe. didnt know coolant could do that to the car.

Yeah, coolant is super slippery. That's why at most tracks they force you to run straight water because its a safety hazard.

My adjuster handling the claim called me this morning to get my official statement and said an appraiser would be looking at the car tomorrow or Wednesday, then they would decide from there. The adjuster, the tow yard and myself have all agreed its totaled, were just waiting for the official word.

The only way I would buy back the car would be is if its cheap enough. Since I have over $7k in aftermarket parts on there, it makes financial sense to buy another accord + my accord and transfer parts/part out my accord. Not to mention I would have 2 5spd swaps in the case I buy an autotragic.

Nobody knows this, but a long time ago I had a white 4dr 99 accord. Got hit by a drunk guy. Sued to the **** out of him for medical costs and injuries. They towed my car to a yard, insurance took forever. So I requested the car to be brought out to my house. You do know that the tow yard will charge you a fee daily right?

Haha, take her easy buddy. If you read carefully, you'll see I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet and, quite frankly, I'm not allowed to. The car is in insurance limbo.

Plus, I'm not a dibs kind of guy. If you can pay me my asking price before anyone else, you get the product, simple as that.

Oh yeah, on more than one occasion, some moderate braking has turned into front tires locking up. Very easy to do.

As far as Eric's car goes, he has full coverage, I would expect him to just have the body shop take care of it.
