I WANT IT!!!! Does anyone know any specifics about it? I looks to be a 3mm LED.

All it does is cast a amber/orange hue on the center console. It's the greatest thing evar!!

i been wanting to do this mod as well. my parents mdx has the same thing but with a blue led, it is sooo siqqq

my GTI had the ambient lighting in it. i started to like it alot, and i was actually thinking about how i can retro an LED up in there and do the same effect. im thinking of using a white one, and it should be actually REALLY simple to do. i might have to go out tomorrow and pick up a little LED kit and maybe do a little DIY

Me too. I'd have to put in on a switch tho, cuz I think I might get tired of it if I made the ambient lighting blue to match everything else I have going one... idk.

At first I thought I could swap the whole homelink. I think it's too big though

why swap the whole thing in when theres prime space to drill a hole in the stock piece and put one in yourself
