its def an amber LED in the most of the hondas.

im thinking of using a "pure" white LED, maybe spray tint it a little to bring down how bright itll be.

sure, ill do a DIY if i remember to when i get around to this, haha.

ok, this is a VW, but see how the shifter is lit?

well, there is an LED in the ceiling and it shines down onto it. VW's have two, but hondas cheap enough to use one....

and it looks like this....the LED is in the hole towards the left, before the light bulb...

i was lookin at the stock piece, and it looks like this would be reallllly easy, just as long as everything will fit, haha. since im going to use a LED light kit, it should be real easy to do.
