I appreciate all of you guys' input I did some more reserch on the g23. It is intriging, but I found it has to use the obd 1 and I need to be able to have obd 2 for inspection. So I guess it is now down to another f23 jdm, h22 obd 2, or boost. Although, the turbo needs obd 1 for tuning it seems I read you can throw the obd 2 in for inspection.

why waste your money on a jdm/h22 engine, just build the f23. you can break 300hp on a stock motor with a proper turbo build. anything else is just pissing money into the wind

Understandable, but I need to keep obd 2 for emissions and it seems all tuning is done with obd 1?
