apparently......

I don't really like kits but mainly cause they're usually accompanied with crazy riced out paint jobs or just done half-assed.

My problem with EVERY body kit they make for our Accords is that none of them accentuate the body lines of the car. Even if they are fitted perfectly and painted properly, they all look bulky and/or stick out from the rest of the car. A lot of cars have aftermarket kits that do look good, I just feel our Accords aren't one of them. It might be "what everyone does" but lip kits really are the only way to help the car's appearance body-wise...

...IN MY OPINION.

I'm finished with this argument.

excellent example of how not to use a body kit. train tunnel, non-functional ram air intakes? as Raymond said above, the problem is that none of the kits usually compliment the body lines of the Accord....IMO right? However, there are some exceptions......

Sikjdm, I believe that's a TSX front bumper modded to fit the Accord.

It's not actually a TSX bumper, it's an Accord bumper that resembles the TSX bumper known as the "Techno-R bumper"...and it's made for sedans, so coupes would have to further modify it to fit properly.

That is an almost perfect front bumper cover. The airdam is perfectly executed with a nice valence on either side...but the slits on the sides kill it. Exterraneous and disrupts the purity of the form. Almost got it right, like so many other 6GA parts.

I saw the gap in one of the photos you posted. How is that typically rectified?

The openings on the sides do serve a purpose. In that particular pic, Travis hadn't yet installed his foglights. My only gripe with that bumper is the gap between the grill and hood, it should have been either designed better or modified for OEM-standard gaps.

There are threads on v6p detailing what's involved in converting this bumper to fit coupes, basically the usual professional prepping when working with fiberglass kits.
