He must have been reversing quite fast. From the damage it looks like it may be a total loss.

Iv gone thru the same, drunk driver reversed into my integra and f@cked up the front end. Drunkies Ins declared it as totaled to give me more money and i kept the car as a salvage title.

If they do total the car I am going to do the same and buy it back with the salvage title. Everything looks fixable for around $1000 but I know insurance will quote the damage as way more.

Car is a total loss, waiting for insurance to come pick it up and send me the check so that I can look into something new... It was a sad day when it was wrecked and finding out it was a total loss brought a whole new meaning to sadness.
