Short story, this is my 2nd AEM EMS, 1st(version1) fried out(used off ebay 6years ago) this new V2 is getting on my last nerve. Takes about 6+ times to start, the car does not drive very well even tho its been tuned twice by 2 separate shops, gives my entire electrical system shorts-Radio cuts off randomly, and AC panel works when it wants.

Reason I went with EMS was plug and play-dont have to worry about the IACV issue(3-2 wire conversion) and other hassles.

Whats my best bet for when I take my car apart and start a semi build,Sell EMS and just get a chipped p28 and OBD conversion harness?

I don't know about the emission laws in your state, but to save yourself tor headache just convert to OBD 1, run a chipped p28 with the f23a1 basemap, and tune it on whatever you prefer.

Yes im about to face that issue in Feb. Gotta take out my injectors, put my stock map sensor and missing link and pull my charge pipe and plug OEM ECU up and HOPE it passes with my Turbo cam/gear.

Damn you'll pass even with those cams?

Wouldn't it be running all sluggish? Or is it just a visual test?

gas cap test, and obd2 scan test.
Since my car is so low they just ask if i have a CAT.

GA does not do visual inspection. They do gas cap test, and plug into the OBD2 port. And since I have the EMS that port is dead causing an instant fail.

EMS doesn't control all of that. I've never heard anything bad like that about the EMS.
