Accord Vs. Prelude tranny

The H23 tranny is better on the F23 motor, NA. Because it has shorter gears, makes the car seem alittle quicker. The H22 is a long geared tranny made for engines reving past 6k. So if you go boost stick with F23 tranny. NA go for the H23. My 2 cents.

F23 = longest geared
H23 = shorter than F23, longer than H22
H22 = shortest geared
F20B = same as H22, taller 5th

Use a manual f23 or f22 tranny for boost.

so if I didn;t want to ever boot my f23, then get the h22?.......i may as well get the h22 tranny if I ever have to replace my auto.
