feel you on that. and youre auto so you would have to do the conversion too, to get all the benefits. but you def need a drop first!

Ya I just set the head on there for giggles after tearing down the h22 motor.
I'm taking the head next week to get milled and and the oil drains plugged.
The block is fully redone with acl bearings and that stuff with 86.5mm oversized pistons
and kaizen speed balance shaft delete kit. Debating k20 pistons or just buy forged NA pistons. Slow build what shooting for completion end of June :)

Nice! If you're building it for boost id get the the forged F series pistons. But if you're N/A Get the K20 pistons. It bumps your comppresion to 11:5:1

I did some research and k20 pistons are 86mm I'm over lol I was to just bore it out .5 more and put some s2k pistons in it :)

Oversized 86.5mm pistons in an 87mm H22??

F20C/F22C1 wrist-pin: 23mm, H22 wrist-pin: 22mm

F20C/F22C1 rod length: 153mm/149.65mm, H22 rod length 143.15mm

F20C/F22C1 comp height: 29.98mm, H22 comp height: 31mm

F20C/F22C1 head cc: 52.5cc, H22 head cc: 53.8cc

F20C/F22C1 deck height: 224mm, H22 deck height: 219.5mm

You would need completely custom aftermarket rods to make that work, and even then whether the OE forged S2k pistons will work with the H22's FRM sleeves is a toss-up.

Time for more research.

Ah... OE pistons only come in +0 and +.25mm, so then your only OTS option would be 86.5mm K20 pistons unless you want to pay for Bisi or other custom pistons.
