And after searching i could not come up with a install diagram. Does anyone hav this unit? I really dont hav the money to b replacing, so im lookin to just get it working properly. Any help would b usefull

Pics would help... :coffee:

There's one line in on the FPR, and one line out. The other third port is a vacuum port. Check the connections, if they all check out then you need a new FPR.

Sry, pics tomro morn. The bottom line is fuel in and thats fine. Port on the right is vacum in from throttle body. Thats connected and seems fine. The top port is suppost to b for pressure only. Its not suppost to see vacum at all. And its not connected.

Aftermarket FPR's are more trouble than they're worth. I'd sell/return the Synapse and get an OE FPR with a big outlet. That should fit your budget. :beer2:

easy way to check it, like he said u should have an inlet port, an outlet port and a vacuum port, u should be able to just barely blow through the inlet or outlet but u shouldnt be able to blow in the vacuum port, if u can the diaphram is busted

tail tell sign though is run the car for about 5 minutes the turn it off go pull the vacuum line off if there is fuel in or around it then the diaphram is busted

Update- ended up buying a 7$ check valve and a vacume tee. Connected the top port of the fpr so it only gets pressure. Wow what a diffrence. The car actually makes power. Im only running about 9lbs of boost on a 2.5 turbo. This fpr allows me to tune the amount of fuel pressue basied on hiw much boost the turbo is making. Right around 3000 rpms it throws you into ur seat. Now i know that this does not make any kind of impressive numbers but this being my first turbo car its a lot of fun. Hav pics.. will try to post them later this evening
