Okay, thanks. I've been at work all day, but I'll look into it. I was wondering if anyone on here had heard of it. I know I can't just put straight springs on my coilovers since they're tapered, so I assumed I'd have similar trouble with these.

I'm just looking to lower my front end without buying four new coilovers and I can't find a place to buy just the front two.

Alright, I'll see what he knows. I'm surprised more people don't run them considering how many of the new members are concerned about the ride stiffness of coils.

These setups aren't the ideal bag setup that's why.

These won't give you the full potiential like the other full setup that most lexus cars are.

It isn't the stiffness people are after for these bag setup, its to drive low and park lower.

Jerod has these on his Megan EZ struts, which will allow him to go only so low. Same for Adrian.

Look at Ron (sakuradrops) old accord, it had the bag setup to go frame low for parking and low for driving.

If people wanted stiffness they would usually just go for some good full coilovers and order some swift/hyperco/etc spring.

You can do that for your teins also, but remember that teins are made more for comfort and not meant to go super low. You can always replace the springs for shorter springs, but it'll effect the comfort and shock big time.

Alright let me give you what I have learned threw whit I know about this. You parable have gathered that you are taking the spring out and putting a bag in it's place. You have to build a bottom plate and cup for the bag to rest. These is where you get how the bag sits in the coil over. So the shorter or longer you make the cup will determine how low or high it will sit once it is aired out. Then is is all about playing with the adjustments on the coil to get the high you want.

Alright, that's helps a lot. It makes sense that I haven't heard much about them on this forum, then. I've looked into further lowering my Teins, but all that's available is a 2" shorter tapered spring, but the employee told me it would just bind and blow the coils. I'm looking for another 1" lower to give the front end an aggressive look.

It sounds like air bags don't help you go lower, except for parking which won't blow the shocks.

Now that I think about it, I saw a 5th gen accord lowering its front end while parked at a gas station. I thought I was imagining it.

Here are "cup kits" which replace your springs on your existing coilovers. http://www.phantomsuspension.com/shop/assembled-complete/

You can air out whenever, even while you are driving. The people above are just saying they fully air out (lay frame) when they are parked to appear the are low. The reason they don't ride fully aired out is because your car won't move if it is sitting on the ground lol.

lowriders that jump are on hydraulics. i'm sure airbags would blow out pretty quick with that type of abuse.

the cost of an air ride set up far outweighs the cost of coilovers, and if you're not a diy'er, have fun paying that labor cost to have the setup installed. anyone i've known to bag their cars have usually pieced together their setups, so it's more reliable.

Holy ****, Jordan. $2,800 on sale? The bags I looked at were around $90. I'd much sooner just buy FF2s. lol. Thanks for all the info, though. Hopefully this thread can be easily searched for people interested in this.

You can buy them cheaper from UAS which is what Jerod had.
