I too used the gromit under the brake booster (I4). I cut a hole in it so i didn't even have to take it off, so no problems getting it back in (which is a bitch, i've done it differently on other cars.

Grommet where there is already a set of wires running out up in the drivers side footwell......FTMFW. I have an 8awg and a 4awg wire now going through there as well.

Passenger side footwell, there is a grommet i little bit under the glovebox, comes through behind the airbox. Tape the wire to a coat hanger and push through and pull from the inside

I believe mine are all run through the brake one... and I have 2 big power cables coming through there, but I do have the v6

i have a broken finger right now so that doesnt sound like fun. will a 0/1 wire fit in the hole under the brake booster?
