Re: And so it begins... 6 speed.

Sad.

You do know who you're reffering to right?... :nutkick:

We already started... couldn't find a lock key :ugh2:

Sorry, I just had a lot of problems with this person that did mine. Everything is fine so far. Is the new flywheel and clutch supposed to make like a "SSSSSSS" sound when its new? It happens when my clutch is engaging and stops once my foot is off the clutch. I was just in San Diego a month ago. Maybe when I come again I can visit your shop!!

Sorry to hear man... That sounds like a bad clutch bearing - did they install a new one or used the old one from the trans. you got? I installed all new parts on Hunter's so it shouldn't make any noises.

Something to note: They had issues hooking the tranny up to my motor because of the innovative mounts. So anyone planning to do this keep in mind new or stiff mounts will make it difficult to mount the tranny up with the engine in place. (figured someone in the future will be looking at this thread when they search 6 speed swap and might need to know this ;) )

Tranny is officially in. Waiting on some hydrolic lines and last touches. I guess it's tomorrow instead of today :'(
