Most of the stuff that I do off the bike is crossfit related. Scissor kicks are awesome for strength in your lower core and upper thighs, both of which are used extensively in cycling. I alternate that with pushups and situps to strengthen the rest of my core. If your knees are bothering you try some simple bodyweight squats to start with, that will really help with flexibility and strength throughout your legs without a ton of jarring movements.

Got some new EggBeater 3's for Christmas along with some new grips and Pearl Izumi Cyclone gloves. I also now have enough money to buy my new fork, does anyone have experience rebuilding suspension forks?

Nice!!1 I have always wanted to ride eggbeaters just to try them out.

I bought myself a tubeless kit for the new bike. Oh and got a handlebar mount for the new Hero2 :D Looking into handlebars right now but not sure what would look best with the black without going over the top. Thinking orange, and then maybe get an orange bash guard. I believe RaceFace has both.

I am about to lose it, this weather is killing me. Usually our winters are colder than this, which means almost no rain. But we have been having warmer temps and tons of rain, which means absolutely no riding. Of course this past week has been perfect in the 50s with no rain, but I worked all week. ONNNNLLYYYY for it to rain overnight before my day off....HATE HATE HATE HATE

Yea, that's rough, our trails were closed the entire month of December basically. They were open for a week and a half and then it snowed, but only like 1/8th of an inch and that melting caused it to get nasty again. Ugh.

So trails there actually close? Or do people just not ride them? We have an issue here of people riding the trails when it is wet, so some get destroyed
